Rockham Bay near Mortehoe, known locally as Mortehoe Beach, is a lovely secluded beach in a bay backed by rocky cliffs, with Bull Point Lighthouse sitting on the cliffs above the beach. Built by Trinity House in 1975—replacing an earlier light built in 1879—to guide vessels navigating off the North Devon coast. Seen here in the late evening with flowering Heather growing above the southwest coastpath in a stunning coastal setting. Mortehoe, North Devon. July 2021
